The Municipality of Princeton has a goal to reduce carbon emissions and to help the community become more resilient. An easy way for residents to get involved is by participating in one of PSE&G’s energy-efficiency programs. Princeton residents will not only save energy and money but can improve the comfort, health, and safety of their homes. Whether you are a homeowner or a renter, there is an option for all of our community members to get involved!

Your FREE home energy assessment may include:

  • Smart thermostat
  • LED light bulbs
  • Faucet aerators
  • Efficient-flow showerheads
  • Showerhead adapters

PSE&G Program Options for Renters and Homeowners

Comfort Partners

(Income-qualified)
This FREE program, including a free home energy assessment, helps income-eligible residents save energy while improving the comfort and safety of their home, providing no-cost energy-saving products and potential upgrades.

Home Weatherization Program

(Income-qualified)
Residents eligible for this program receive a FREE home energy assessment and may qualify for energy efficiency improvements and health and safety upgrades depending on your home’s needs, all at no cost.

Whole Home Energy Assessment

Residents can receive a FREE home energy assessment to understand their home’s energy use and discover ways to reduce waste. Plus, energy saving products are installed at no cost during the appointment.
Whole Home Energy Solutions, a more comprehensive assessment for homeowners.

About the Sustainable Jersey-PSE&G Energy Efficiency Partnership Program

As part of New Jersey’s clean energy initiatives, PSE&G offers customized energy efficiency solutions for homeowners and renters, regardless of income.

Eligible participants may receive:

  • A free home energy assessment
  • Substantial energy efficiency, health, and safety upgrades at no cost
  • Up to $7,500 in rebates for energy-saving home improvements with interest-free, on-bill repayment options

This program helps residents save energy, reduce costs, and improve home comfort!
